Dear Old Emma, A worn little American teddy who was well loved and adored in her days. She has tiny shoe button eyes, a pointy nose and a sprinkling of her yellow mohair remaining. A bit of a mystery as to her maker but with her slim build, long arms, legs and body shape she has some characteristics similar to an early Hecla or perhaps a German Strunz.
She has some marks here and there, stain on the back of one ear, some small freckles of dirt to her face and doubtful she ever had any claws. Her pads are replaced as well as is her nose and mouth thread. She’s firmly stuffed and a few seams look resewn so maybe some stuffing added to her at some point. Her joints move well. She measures 10 ½” tall standing.
A friendly & playful old girl she wears a sweet little vintage striped bibbed romper.
