To Enlarge Them

A sweet old Cinnamon Steiff Boy with a soulful, pensive expression, a good size of 13” with an endearing presence.
His cinnamon fur is very bright though he has not had a recent bath, what remains is vivid with some general wear and balding, about 65% remains I believe. His nose, mouth and claws are all original and so are his pads, though the felt has worn down over the years and show some holes on all four of them, they are not leaking as yet.
Firmly stuffed, he has no Steiff button and is without dry rot to him which is common to this color mohair. He has some repairs using older cinnamon mohair in a good match to his own fur. On the front of his legs above the ankle on both legs is a sewn in patch about the size of a dime/nickel. A small patch was placed over his own mohair in the back over his hump. His right ear seems replaced to me but again done rather well. The newer furused is slightly longer than his own. To me, it is very well done repairing, the color matches as good as you can get.
Signs of love he was given after many hugs from his family and reminisce of the days gone by, this boy is deep in thought, is very friendly and has gotten by quite well.
I have a wonderful new home
