An early gal from humble beginnings with classic vintage charm, she has a quiet demeanor and was likely made in Germany by the PETZ company founded by Anton Kiesewetter and measures 15” tall.
Paulette has a pretty and kind face with old shoe button eyes which have loosened with age, her ears were originally cut into slots but now are stitched to the top of her head, a nicely done job. She shows her age slightly and has some patina to her, has had only a slight brushing being left “as found” which is in great condition though her beige creamy blonde mohair is now mostly gone. Her body is firmly stuffed except a little in her legs.
Her floss is good though I’m certain she had a little more at birth, her original 3 claws no longer complete. Hand pads are replaced while her original pads on her feet show wear though she stands quite well for an old gal her age. A tiny hole to the inner right thigh does not hinder her joint nor ability to sit.
She wears her original short sleeve collared romper with bow and looks more adorable in person. A “tall drink of water” so they say, with those long legs of hers she needs not a skirt to cover them up. reduced price $245 see more pics below
