An unusual look to this impish boy with his almost monkey like expressive face. He’s adorably friendly after many years of play and measures 10 1/2” tall.
Original wispy bits of rust color floss show as two dots on his sucked on twisted nose, partial floss mouth lends to his quirkiness, some claws are missing. His muzzle area has darkened possibly from being chewed on or maybe he’s been in the chocolate syrup topping his ice cream sundaes. There is wear to the mohair on his head and the eyes are mismatched, one being original glass the other is hand sewn thread. Overall for the age the mohair is in good condition though some thinning here and there.
Age wear mostly to his face & head. Foot pads have repairs, his hand pads are folded inward. sewn closed to prevent leakage. settled stuffing in ankles as usual with these long legged beauties. Ears sewn back towards head, and he has a tiny repair on his belly likely from a broken squeaker. No odors to him at all.
Hobbsie as he’s affectionately known wears his early antique jacket with bright red embroidered scarf. We felt he deserved his “Sunday Best” after all he’s very special and A Lucky Guy!
