Our Little Miss Sunshine Teddy named Dill, short for Daffodil is most likely made by Farnell pre- 1920s, measuring 13” tall to top of head.

Her muzzle is shaven as the earlier teddies were and is lacking some straw inside. Her original nose floss has partially worn away, most of her 5 claws on paws looking very good. 3 of her paws have been recovered over the original felt most likely due to worn areas. Her feet are long and card lined.

Her mohair is yellow which could use a light bathe as her original patina from playwear shows her age. She has a good amount of fur left with some areas of balding or loss, a tiny repair atop her head, barely noticed. Her limbs move well, her neck is showing the inside disc, her head is stitched down over it, so her head only moves slightly but is quite stable. Her eyes are mismatched or shoe buttons, with one top surface broken.

Dill looks much better in person as our abundant sunshine tricks the camera. Her antique outfit is a two piece yellow dress with separate under slip in spring green. It is very old and unable to get off easily at this time.
