What a wonderful muzzle you have, I bet it can detect a multitude of smells and help find the lost with his huge olfactory perception. We’d hate to see it grow any longer, that’s No Lie!

With a face you would never forget, “Pino” as we nicknamed him is an early c.1910 teddy bear from Wilhelm Strunz, a German maker of fine teddy bears and other fabulous toys. I’m sure due to his early age he’s managed to have a little bit of repairing and darns to him.

He’s around 16 3/4” standing tall and a bit over 11" when he's seated, solidly stuffed with excelsior and has a non-working growler taking up most of his chest and belly. This unique and adorable bear with a face that will make you smile is certainly not a perfect guy, he has much balding, some threadbare areas. all his pads were recovered long ago and only a little mohair remaining which could use a bit of clean to fluff up.

His mohair has faded over time and he still has patina from his childhood. His fur isn’t as yellowy gold as my photos may show but he is a blond haired boy with feet measuring 3 1/2” long and his needle nose is 2” long. His arms are very long as well and feet are pigeon toed leaning towards his left.

Just a delightful and lovable rare Strunz bear.
