Adorably handsome is our early Bing Teddy only made for two years with his special head & ear design from 1908-1910. It’s known as the All in One” design where the ear was cut out as part of the head fabric instead of attached after head was stuffed.
He has original large boot button eyes, original floss to nose & mouth, some repairing to pads and some claws remaining on his long 3 ½” long, card lined feet. The stuffing settled just below the neck, a non-working tip over growler in his belly. His mohair was a deep golden color shown on his backside. He has much overall wear and balding, a few small repairs or darns & original patina down his front and arms. He’s been left as found with his original patina and measures almost 16” with a slight slumpiness to him. He could probably benefit from a light bath and fluff. Bing teddies have a certain sweetness about them almost child-like, as endearing as when he was made. Dressed in his early made robe, this boy is just so expressive.price $675
